This section is dedicated to various works I made mostly for commercial use and not pure fun.
Title: Underwater Overground 2 T610 mobile phone theme
Since making a theme for the T610 isn't very hard I decided it would round up the festival promotion nicely if I made a matching theme. It does have a couple of bugs in it but overall it's a lot better than the default styles. At least for me. To make it work just upload the file with a bluetooth of infrared connection to your T610 using an upload program such as SendFile.
Title: Underwater Overground 2 website
Apart from the design change the website for the Underwater Overground 2 festival also has a forum and several goodies for download which you can now find here since most of it is now offline. Currently only the forum is online since a brand new website for the festival is in the works which will cover both of the previous festivals and the upcoming ones. You can see the current website @ www.underwater-overground.com
Title: Underwater Overground 2 flyer
After the first Underwater Overground festival I put a lot of effort trying to figure out how to carry on the story and I made a drastic change in the design since I really wanted to experiment with my Graphire 3 tablet. The result is probably one of my best works. The flyer is perforated and folds like a harmonica. The print quality was also excellent and it had no errors. Tons of other promotional material was made, such as advertisements for a magazine, badges and tickets and of course a poster.
Title: Underwater Overground website
As well as all the printed material I also made the website for the Underwater Overground festival. Apart from the same design used on the flyers the website has a nice flash player made by a friend which plays 3 loops from some Croatian trance artists. The site opens in a pop up window and uses layers. Of course a banner was also made.
Title: Underwater Overground flyer
The flyer has the same design as the preflyer and the website. It was a booklet with 4 pages. The perforation was in the middle so there were 8 pages in total. Since this was one of the first things I ever gave into print it had a big problem with an entire page. I made the font too small to read and learned never to make such a mistake again.
Title: Underwater Overground preflyer and ticket
The first work I did for the Underwater Overground festival here in Croatia. This is also my first work that was printed to there were some problems with it since I'm not an expert on DTP. The ticket is pretty simple and I left some space for stamping. A matching poster was also made.
Title: My old homepage
Not much to say here, the previous design I had for my homepage. It used layers and some custom scripts. The layout was a bit more complicated and harder to update which is why I decided to make a redesign.
Title: Trancepleme.com
Without a doubt my biggest project. Trancepleme.com is dedicated to promoting the trance scene in Croatia. There is much to say about it but I will only comment the design itself. It was changed during the last couple of years but not significantly. The original idea was done by a friend of mine but I changed pretty much all of it.
Title: Bolnica Bistra homepage
A site made for my mom's hospital. I used a very simple layout since the site is just some basic information about her work with some photos and history. The only real graphic work is on the top part where I used some simple layer masking to connect several photos of the location.
Title: DJ Ganesh homepage
A homepage made for a friend DJ. It's online now since I never managed to make and admin solution for him to update it and besides there wasn't much to update in the first place. Most of the info on him can still be found on the trancepleme.com website but I still keep this page since I think the design is really nice and simple. Even though I did borrow a few ideas from the k10k website. Guilty as charged!
Title: Calling cards
Two simple calling cards I made for a Danish site that sells these online. Unfortunately they weren't used. I'm still not even sure how the darn thing works and what it's for but I got my cash for it so I don't really care. In any case I'm pretty happy with how they turned out.
Title: Collection covers
These are very simple CD covers I use for my music, video and game collections. They were made to use as less printer color as possible since I need a lot of them and I also made them in several colors to make it easier to distinguish the CDs. Feel free to use them for yourself and contact me if you want the Psd.
Title: Gotcha and Spin Cycles promos
Some promotional CD covers I made for a DJ here. Again I think these are some of my better work and it really didn't get used properly since I think this could have been a good cover for an actual release. In any case this one is for sale so contact me if you're interested.
Title: Croatian EP
Every once in a while I make something I'm really proud of and then it doesn't work. This is one of those things. It was an EP sticker for a record that never came out. Well, it did come out, but not with my design. What bugs me most about it is the fact that I put a lot more effort in this than usual. I took a digital camera and snapped some shots of a skyscraper building here in Zagreb and just used polar coordinates to make it this trippy. It's still for sale so if anyone is interested contact me.
Title: Tribalizer flyer #3
The third in the Tribalizer flyer series and probably the best one. The only thing that sucks is the fact that this one was printed in the least amount and the deadline was 3 days before the party. I never managed to even see how it came out in print but at least I'm glad I got the idea right here. I also used my tablet to draw some tribal logos.
Title: Tribalizer flyer #2
The second flyer I made for the Tribalizer party. This one is in the shade of green and it continues where the last flyer left off. Although most people liked this one the best I think it was still a bit off from the general idea I had in my head.
Title: Tribalizer flyer #1
A first in the series of flyers I made for the Tribalizer trance parties in the Attack club. It's pretty simple yet effective. I was trying to build a certain visual identity for the party and I think it shows with the rest of the flyers.
Title: Dramenbeis flyer #3
The third flyer I made for the drum and bass party. I made it shortly after I got my Graphire 3 tablet so I just had to try it out on something. The result is a bit crappy but after it was printed I learned a lot about drawing properly even though I'm still trying to make it look better. Like in the previous ones, this one also has a matching poster.
Title: Dramenbeis flyer #2
The second flyer I made for the drum and bass party. This one is a little bit better. I used 3ds max to make some random crystals and abstract shapes. The colors are pretty intense here and I think it's the best one I made for their party. I also made a matching poster
Title: Dramenbeis flyer #1
A flyer made for a drum and bass party that my girlfriend organizes. It's one of those things I made with a tight deadline banging my head against the wall and trying to conjure up any creativity...it failed and the result is pretty obvious. Never the less she and her crew were happy with it. I also made a matching poster.
Title: Attack protest flyer
This was a simple black and white protest flyer that was handed out at the official protest for the closing of our only psytrance club. The main logo is graffiti and it isn't my work. The protest was successful for the most part.
Title: Gear Logo
A very simple logo I made for a friend and his record label. It was made from an actual gear photo. The transform again action saved my ass here since all the tiny ridges weren't clear enough in the photo so I just took one of them and made copies.
Title: Distorted Font
This is my first and only font so far. It was a college project so I was forced to do it. It is used on the top of this page. It still has some bugs in it and I never worked on the kerning but other than that it works pretty fine.
